Paul W. Vukeles
Paul W. Vukeles has been a practicing CPA in Arizona for over 19 years, both in private practice and as a managing partner in a small firm, BV Tax & Accounting, PLLC that he helped create in 2006. During this time, Paul focused on accounting, tax preparation and planning, and tax audit defense. Paul also provided service on due diligence matters for individuals who wished to purchase a business. This included working with individuals who were looking to start their own business while acting in the capacity both as a mentor, a counselor and an adviser.
Before becoming a CPA, Paul held a 20-year career as an engineer for Northrop Corporation, Garrett AirResearch, Lockheed, Consolidate Controls Corporation, and McDonnell Douglas. While employed by these companies, Paul worked in the areas of engineering, quality control, subcontracts, contracts, purchasing, warranty, and litigation support.
In 1977, Paul graduated from Northrop University in Inglewood, California with a bachelor’s degree in AeroMechanical Engineering, which included training and licensing as an airframe and power-plant mechanic. In 1979, Paul went back to school and in 1982 graduated with his Jurist Doctorate from Northrop University School of Law.
In addition to his work as a CPA/Consultant, Paul is an adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University, where he teaches both graduate and undergraduate income tax, business law, and accounting courses. Paul also taught accounting and tax courses at the University of Phoenix and Western International University and overall has been teaching business related courses for over 15 years.
In May of 2013, Paul resigned from his partnership at BV Tax & Accounting, PLLC and returned to private practice with an emphasis on providing management consulting for new business start-ups. In addition, to helping new businesses and their owners, Paul’s overall focus is on helping existing businesses grow to new levels of productivity and profitability. He specializes on working with small to midsize manufacturing companies. Paul also works with CPAs, accountants and bookkeepers in the areas of practice management and business development.
